Several days ago, the poker client software was upgraded by the network.
Users of NOD 32 Anti-Virus software may experience difficulties downloading the latest version of the Hansa Poker software.
Furthermore, some users may have attempted to turn off or "Quit" their NOD32 software in order to download the software and encountered unusual errors during or at the end of the download, which may include
"The connection to the server was terminated unexpectedly"
or
"C:\Documents & Settings\...\...\PokerSetup.exe is not a valid Win32 application."
Accordingly, for users of NOD32 Version 2.7, please follow these steps to disable it so that you can download and install the Hansa Poker client:
STEP 1
In the Task bar (bottom right hand corner of your desktop) click the NOD32 logo to open the Control Center:

STEP 2
Click on "AMON" and a new window will appear (usually on the right on the control center). In this window, you will see that there is a tick-box next to "File system monitor (AMON) enabled". Click on the tick-box to remove the tick.

STEP 3
You will now receive a warning that Disable AMON will stop anti virus protection. Simply click the Yes button:

STEP 4
Next, click on IMON on the control center menu. A similar window will appear and, as with AMON, un-tick the box next to Internet Monitor (IMON) enabled.

STEP 5
You will now be advised that Termination of IMON will leave your computer unprotected. Click the Yes button to confirm.

STEP 6
After these steps are completed, your control center should appear as follows:

Notice that AMON and IMON now have red buttons next to them, indicating they are disable. Furthermore, Windows XP will probably let you know that ESET NOD32 is turned off and your computer might be at risk.
Now that this is complete, please open internet explorer, visit the page where you were attempting to download Hansa Poker and you should now be able to download and install without any issues or warning.
***IMPORTANT FINAL STEP***
Once the installation is complete, please open the NOD32 panel again and tick the boxes that you un-ticked under AMON and IMON and you anti-virus software will be enabled again.
The current issue with NOD32 only prevents the installation of the software and does not affect the running of the poker client once installed.
We have contacted NOD32 and their team will be updating the NOD32 database so that it does not issue warnings in the future.
